Project Overview

Pirates Voyage is a pirate-themed dinner show located in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. The unique attraction features a pool and diving well, centered among three pirate ships in an indoor theater.

Construction of this project created several unique challenges involve the complete remodel of an existing theater. The central pool and diving well was excavated and constructed inside the existing building utilizing shotcrete and soil nail construction. Blalock Ready Mix provided structural concrete and shotcrete for the pool wall construction as well as decorative concrete for the pirate ship decks, which were stamped to mimic wooden planks. Additionally, Blalock provided line and shotcrete pumping for crews from Charles Blalock and Sons to construct the walls.
